The number of mountaineering accident in summer season is 647 cases this year and it is 64 cases more than that in last year, according to the National Police Agency. The number of sufferers is 782 people including 65 dead or missing people.
The sufferers aged 60 years or over account for 44.0% (344 people). It is regarded as recent mountain-climbing boom centered on middle aged persons.
The agency called attention that “Don’t be overestimate your physical strength and make a moderate mountaineering plan”.
