A mountain with a gradual peak stands behind the plateau covered with flowers

Mt. Kirigamine is known as a tourist resort since it was developed as a winter resort and is easily accessible by car. A lot of flower blooming around Kurumayama, one of the trailhead to Mt. Kirigamine, in summer. Many tourists visit here to see yellow flowers of broad dwarf day-lily in July.

Description:
It is very easy to hike Mt. Kirigamine using a wide trail from Kurumayama-kata. Distance in elevation from the trailhead is only 125 m. There is a lift that takes tourists close to the peak. So, you may meet many tourists on the top of the moluntain.

Stay on established trails and watch your footing, especially at overlooks and near drop-offs. Never throw or roll rocks because there may be hikers below.
