A mountain with beautifil alpine plants and rocky ridges
The shape of Mt. Amakazari is magnificent like an independent mountain. The view from the peak is marvelous, and is the place that overlooks the Sea of Japan. Routes start at secluded hot springs, Otari onsen and Amakazari onsen, are pupular for hikers. Mt. Amakazari has twin peaks, north peak and south peak. A stone image of Buddha is enshrined on the north peak.

Note: The route is good in condition and there is no dangerous point. The route is, however, rather a steep slope and it could make hikers a little tired. It is a full of variety route with snow patch around Arasugesawa and flowers around Sasadaira. Parking area is available at the camp ground.
